Plumbing

Running toilets, slow drains, leaky faucets and disposals

SnapWork fixes everyday plumbing problems one fixture at a time: a toilet that keeps running, a faucet or sink that drips, a slow drain, a jammed or leaking garbage disposal, a showerhead or shower handle, a shutoff valve, a hose bib or a fridge water line. Each fixture has its own posted price for the standard repair. Emergencies, sewer lines and pipes inside walls are not part of it. We work across Napa County and Solano County.

One fixture, one price

Every common fixture problem has its own standard repair and posted price: a running toilet, a leaking sink or faucet, a slow drain, a garbage disposal, a shower, a shutoff valve, an outdoor hose bib and a fridge water line. Name the fixture and what it's doing, add a photo, and you'll see the price for the standard repair.

When it isn't a small repair

If the photo shows water damage, a pipe inside the wall, or a problem that affects more than one fixture, the job is bigger than a standard repair. We price it from your photo first, or tell you it needs a licensed plumber. Nothing is booked or charged until you approve.

Shut it off first

If something is leaking right now, close the shutoff valve under or behind the fixture. If you can't find one, close the main water valve to the house. Then send the request.

Replacing a whole fixture? See toilet replacement or faucet replacement.

What to photograph

  • The whole fixture, plus a close-up of where it leaks, drips or clogs
  • The shutoff valve and supply line under or behind the fixture
  • The cabinet floor or the floor around the base, if it's wet or stained
  • Any part you already bought, with its box

Questions people ask

How much does it cost to fix a running toilet or a leaky faucet?

Each fixture repair has its own posted price for the standard repair. You'll see it on this page's live price list and again when you send your request.

Can I list several plumbing problems in one request?

Yes. List each fixture separately so each one gets its own price. If several drains back up at the same time, say so, because that usually points to a main line, which is not a small repair.

What counts as an emergency?

Water you can't stop, sewage coming up, or a leak near electrical. Shut off the water and call an emergency plumber. SnapWork is not an emergency service.

Do you supply the parts?

Standard parts like a flapper, fill valve, supply line or shutoff valve come with the repair. A new faucet, showerhead or disposal is one you buy and the pro installs.
